Renewals, cancellation and refunds

When your allowances reset

Your allowances reset on the same day each month as the day you subscribed. Billing shows the date next to each allowance. A yearly plan is paid once a year and still resets its allowances every month.

When a month starts:

On reset
Monthly AI credits and compute hours Set back to your plan's amounts; last month's leftovers do not carry over
Purchased credits Untouched

A yearly plan renews automatically at the end of its year, at the yearly price then in effect. You get a reminder by email before it renews.

If a renewal payment fails, the new month's allowances are not added until it succeeds. You keep access to your account, workspaces, purchased credits and invoices. Update your card under Billing → Payment methods.

Change your plan

Open Billing and choose Manage plan. You manage the subscription, seats, invoices and card on Stripe's secure billing page, then come back to Haarness.

An upgrade takes effect at once: you pay the difference for the rest of the period, and the rest of this month's allowances grow by the same share. A downgrade takes effect at the next renewal.

Switching between monthly and yearly billing starts a new billing period the day the switch takes effect. Stripe bills the new period at once, less a credit for the unused part of the old one (a credit larger than the bill stays on your Stripe balance for the next invoices), and your monthly allowances start again from that day.

Cancel

  1. Open Billing and choose Cancel subscription.
  2. Nothing changes until the end of the period you have paid for, a month or a year: workspaces run, and allowances and credits stay usable. You are not charged again.
  3. When that period ends, monthly allowances stop and workspaces can no longer run.

Changed your mind before then? Choose Resume subscription, and the plan renews as normal.

After the plan ends, your purchased credits are kept, and so are your workspaces and their files, with two limits:

  • Disk has no allowance any more. With Overage on, purchased credits pay for every workspace's disk at 500 credits per GB per month; with it off, nothing is charged.
  • A workspace that stays stopped for 30 days, on an account with no plan and no purchased credits, is deleted with its disk.

Subscribe again within that time and everything is where you left it. To stop paying for disk, delete the workspaces you no longer need.

What happens to your credits

When you cancel When your account is deleted
Monthly allowances Usable until the end of the paid period Gone
Purchased credits Kept for as long as your account exists Forfeited, unless a refund applies

Credits are a balance for Haarness services, not money held for you. They cannot be exchanged for cash.

Refunds

If you are a consumer in the EU, the UK or a similar jurisdiction, you can withdraw from a payment within 14 days and get back the part you have not used. Email [email protected] from your account's email address and say which payment. Otherwise, fees already paid and credits already spent are not refunded, unless the law requires it or we made a billing error. The Terms have the details. A refund shows in Billing → Ledger as its own line, next to the original purchase.

If a payment is disputed with your bank, the unspent credits from that payment are frozen until the dispute is settled. Your account, data and invoices stay available the whole time.

Export your data

To keep a workspace's work, push it to its Git repository or download files from its Files tab. See Keep a copy of a workspace's files. Your invoices are in Billing → Payments, and every credit movement is in Billing → Ledger.

Delete workspaces or your account

  • A workspace: open it and choose Delete workspace from the workspace menu. Its machine and disk are erased straight away.
  • Your account: open Settings → Your data and choose Delete account, or in Haarness for Android or Haarness for iPhone open your profile and tap Delete account. You see what goes before you confirm: your workspaces and their files, your plan (cancelled at once), purchased credits, and which teams close or keep going without you. Type your email address, or DELETE if the page asks for it, and a two-factor code if you use one, to confirm. Your account, workspaces, exports, backups, sign-ins, devices, keys and connected computers are deleted. Invoices, payments and the ledger are kept, as tax law requires.
  • A team you own alone: if others belong to it, make someone else an owner (or remove the other members) first, so nobody loses the team with your account. A team only you belong to is deleted with your account.

Delete your Haarness account has every step, including how to ask by email when you cannot sign in, and what is kept and for how long. The Privacy policy explains what we keep and why.
