Get started with Haarness Cloud

Haarness runs entirely on your own computer, and always will. Haarness Cloud is optional. It adds what a laptop cannot do on its own:

  • Agents that keep working when you close the lid. Each Cloud workspace is its own machine, with your repository, files, terminal and chats. Cloud workspaces
  • Prompts that run on a schedule, such as a summary every morning, even while your computer is off. Schedule prompts
  • Every model on one account. There are no provider keys to manage, and usage is paid in credits. It works in Desktop and the CLI too. Models and routers
  • Your own computer, from anywhere. Open your local projects and chats from a browser. Remote control

A Cloud workspace runs the same agent as your computer, with the same permissions, slash commands and AGENTS.md.

Start your first Cloud workspace

  1. Sign in at haarness.ai with your email, Google or Apple. Sign in
  2. Start the free trial or choose a plan in Billing. The trial lasts 14 days and charges nothing; each plan includes monthly AI credits, compute hours and disk. Credits and plans
  3. Describe a task on Home, for example "Explain this repository", and press Enter.

Cloud starts a workspace named after your task, opens it, and sends the task as soon as the machine is ready. You can close the tab: the agent keeps working, and the answer is there when you come back.

Use Cloud from Desktop and the terminal

The same account works everywhere:

haarness login

Then choose Haarness Cloud in the model picker to pay for models with your Cloud credits. Your Cloud workspaces also appear in Desktop, under Cloud workspaces. See Automate with the CLI and SDKs.

What can Cloud see?

  • Your account: your name, email and sign-in methods.
  • What you spend: one usage row per model request or compute period, which you can read in Billing. Your prompts and answers are not part of billing data.
  • What you put in a Cloud workspace, because that machine runs on our infrastructure.

Chats on your computer stay there. Their model requests go to the provider you connected, unless you choose Haarness Cloud as the provider. The Haarness apps do send Cloud a daily usage summary, with counts of chats, turns, tokens and tool calls and never your prompts, code or file names; it is linked to your account while you are signed in. Turn it off with haarness telemetry off. See Usage statistics.

The Privacy policy lists everything we keep and for how long. Trust boundaries explains what is isolated and what is not.
